One of the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. The Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank serves the Third Federal Reserve District which consists of eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

This permanent exhibit at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is free and employs advanced presentation technology and interactive displays. The exhibit is a wonderful place to learn the story of central banking in the United States.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s economic teachers offer one-day, three-evening, and week-long professional development programs aimed at equipping K-12 teachers to better teach about economics and personal finance in their own classrooms. Teachers receive professional development credit in their respective states. Registration through this website is required.
