What Really Caused the Depression?

OVERVIEW

For this activity, in two simulations, students determine that bank panics and a shrinking money supply were the primary causes of the Great Depression. They learn the definition of deflation, bank failure, and money supply as well as analyze the relationship between declining prices and business revenue.
